The French Civil Aviation Authority has proactively asked airlines to significantly reduce flights by 75% at Paris-Orly Airport, 55% at Charles de Gaulle Airport, 65% at Marseille-Provence Airport, and other locations. The reductions in flights varied widely at French airports as well. As a result, flight operations were severely restricted, and international flights passing through French airspace were also affected.
